Default chances of blowing up my motor w/turbo?

i just started modding my car, so the obvious question has risen, N/A or Turbo? I have talked to a lotta people who know guys w/H22A's w/turbo setups that have blown their motors...is this due to improper setups/tuning or just the motor's incompatibility of using forced induction well?

if you drive like a stupid *** ******* your car out and boosting with improper tuning, you have a good chance of blowing your motor. if you tune it right and spend money to get it done right the first time, you should be fine everyday boosting 7psi.

preludes are prone to break ring lands after half a year of boost.

Stock piston Ring Lands don't like boost!! If you're going to do it, do it right the first time around and you'll save a ton of $$$$
