Posible or Not? S2000 swap to civic
Anyone with any idea of an S2000 motor into a civic with a front wheel drive set up.
I know everyone thinks its crazy, but would it be posible to use a custome bracket to mount up a K20 6 speed transmission up to an F20c s2000 motor(F2K). As I have compared, the S2000 intake manifold i know will have to either refabricated to exit the driver side in the engine bay because the lack of space on the passenger engine bay.
theory:
now a H22 engines spins counter clockwise when looking at it from cam to tranny, And so people have manage to fabricate custom brackets for an H2B.
now for the F20 the engine spins clockwise like that of a K20. With a custom fabricated transmission braket, does anyone think its posible to build an F2K?
just something on the mind thats all.

lol. I just said it was possible. It's a full drag car. I wanted to show what it looked like though and how it was build to give you an idea.
Why not just use a full K swap? There are more parts and they respond tp mods more. It will be easier and probably cheaper.

Any particular reason for wanting an f20c?
In a fwd application the k20 would dominate it. Or any d/b/h/k/f with a turbo on it.
Goals?
Money?
Philosophy?

well USDM K20's only make 200-210hp, this is only about 178whp. but an S2000 motor rated at 240hp can still stay around 215hp at the wheels. with a k series transmission you wouldnt have to go with all that differentail conversions, and welding and all that expensive stuff. all it needs is a bracket and some custom mounts.
oh and not to mention there's a video on youtube with an actual swap. this thread is old. someones done it already and it looks great. not a full blown race car but w streetable lookin one.

F20C has the best flowing head in the honda family (from my understanding), with stock roller rockers and VTEC killers. I would do the F20C/Ktrans anyday. Theres some guys that just started up there car with this setup and are thinking about making a kit for this as well. I think even though it will become a bandwagon swap i will probably still do it.

Yeah, I love seeing that - especially after the guy dumped close to 10 large into his K swap to make it all perfect
