Remember, when you are tightening the tensioner bolt for the acc. belts, make sure that you have made no effort to loosen the bracket first. When the bolt starts to curve into a lovely U shape, you know you are on the right track. When it snaps in two, you score double points.
No one, and I mean NOBODY carries replacement tensioner bolts. Except a salvage yard, and they will want to sell you the whole assembly for 110 bucks. Just putting the word to the street.
Add to that, my wife curbed the right side of my daily driver at 50 MPH and now it pulls hard to the left AND makes a great thump-thump noise at anything above 25 mph...The autocross this weekend will sure be interesting to say the least.
Ahh, was there a full moon or something yesterday?

Not that I take ANY pleasure in your mishap, but there's a modicum of comfort in knowing that these kinds of things can happen to anyone, even to those w/ more knowledge and experience than this feeble-minded n00b!

At least the bolt issue is sorted out now. Gotta love thread cutters and your local hardware store.
