Default Heater Controls

Ok my problem only happens once and a while which is weird, but i will turn my car(92 Honda Civic Ex Four Door) off and take my key out but i can still turn my heat on and see the little lights on the selector buttons still kinda on, but its weird cause tonight it did it at my gfs house stayed for like 3 hours then left stop at a gas station check to see if it would do it and yep well left and made it home pulled in my garage turned it off and took the key out but it didnt do it. So cool, but im thinking is my control unit or something going out cause i need my heat right now and i dont want it going out on me. The heater and everything works great when the car is on. My radio also works fine and doesn't mess up or anything. anyone know whats going on?

Is it a new or aftermarket radio that you have in your car?

that sounds like an electrical problem. if it helps at all...the lever in the climate control opens a valve in the coolant hoses along the firewall to make hot air

Its After market but has been it for 2 years and was done by a pro.
Also its not the lever that controls the Hot/Cold its the blower motor one

So the blower still works even after you shut off your car? Or just the lights for it?

Hmmm....

I had a 1992 SI, a 1994 Si and a 1995 DX and non of them ever did that. Sounds like a crossed wire sowhere allowing power to the blower.

Did you recently (since it started) have any work done to the car?
