i wanted to replace my rear honda symbol to an new one with the red back round. I have an 97 accord dx. And was wondering does the symbol come of by scrubing or what the to do it so it won't show acess glue? thanks

so you want to replace the plastic chrome honda emblem with emblem with red background?(like the type r emblem)

um..just heat up the old emblem w/ heat gun, take out the emblem by dental floss and clean it up with googone(aka glue remover)

wash the remaining glue off with soapy water and stick the new one on.

x2, im not sure if a heat gun is necessary though, and yes goo gone will work great to take off all that left over crap

 

well so all i have to do is heat it up to good amount of heat then just scrap it off with something rubber so it won't mess up badge. correct and you sure my cra not bolt on type it's 97 acord dx. thanks agian

 

If you can't fix it with goo gone... cover it up with duct tape!
