What would cause a '03 Shadow 750 to spit and backfire a low RPM but run smooth at higher RPMs. If left at idle she will run fine for a couple of minutes and then spit sputter and backfire then die out. Thanks for any help that you can give.

 

i have no experience with this bike or this problem but id guess clean the carbs. i figure if they are gunked up, the lower amount of fuel bein pushed out of the jets gets backed up and clogged, if you rev it some, more pressure is able force the fuel through the gunk. thats just my guess tho.
