changing 92-95 civic door handles.

does anyone know how to take off the plastic round clip behind the handle where the rod and metal hinge meet at? in the picture below i am talking about part 10. i'll try to get some pictures up.

IIRC you have to pinch one side of it with pliers for it to slide through.
