Default Help me pick turbo t4 t67 vs borg warner s366

Help me decide which turbo to run. It will be driven mostly on a pump gas tune around 450hp. It will occasionally be ran on c16 at the track around 650-700hp. The is'nt gonna be daily driver but will be driven a good bit..

84mm GSR
AEBS Sleeved
CP 9:1
EAGLE RODS -I KNOW
ARP Big rod bolts

Head GSR
Portflow portwork
rev valves
crower springs and retainers
type r cams
skunk2 IM port matched to TB
SKUNK 2 70MM TB

The borg warner will cost me 125 more but both are at great prices much less then i see listed everywhere else. The 366 is a 85ar..

This is a t4 setup ran on a inline pro t4 log style..

I just ordered my S366, because after much research and feedback from users of it, it seems like one bad *** turbo with the right setup. One user of it upgraded from hos GT35r, and said that it spooled the same, but made 125 more HP at the same boost level, and I can bet that the S366 would spool faster than the T67. BTW, I got my BW for $1150 shipped with the divided T4, PM me if you need the vendors name.

dont have any personal exp with the s366, but looks like both are good choices. The 67 will do hands down no problem, U could try and look into the 67 BB thats whats on TJ car spools awesome made 700whp no problem.

i have the s366 on my car and like said above, i picked up some serious power over my 35R, i cant explain to you ho wmuch i like the 366, there were no differences in spool time but only one thing was different...............POWER!

i have the .85AR t3 model and i have made over 700(traction limited) on the dyno. the turbo has not gone over 30psi so far on a constant pull.

i did have a spike to 34psi on the street but like anything else above 15psi on this turbo it straight blistered my radials

Yeah i'm seriously leaning that way right now. I was told it would spool a good bit quicker then a t4 t67 and have more power potential. I've personally never saw anyone running a borg warner so its new to me and i was more worried about the quality.

Quality, not to worry my friend, quality is very topnotch

oncei rolled the wheel over and felt how smooth it was, it rolled over so darn similar to my DBB35r wheel.

got it on the car and was amazed at the power at 15psi in comparison to the garret, when i started raising the boost it just got better and better

what BW unit would come in just under the gt35 in power levels? i guess what BW comes in with just a bit more potential than a gt3076 thats also available in a divided t3 setup so it can be put on a full-race sr20 manifold. thanks

The S362 is comparable to the gt35r and just under that is the S259. If you are looking for something like the GT30 the S256 is your turbo. It flows 58 lbs a min.

That must be some old pricing. The price has gone up a little over the last 6 months.

I am currently running a t4/t67 on a built b18b. I made 330 hp(Mustang dyno) on 13psi with some boost leaks on the dyno. At first I wasnt very happy with this turbo because of the slow spool but since then I have fixed my boost leaks and upgrade my intercooler and now the spool time is like night an day. I hit full boost around 5500 rpm and pulls all the way to redline.

I was quoted at 849 shipped for the t4 t67 journal bearing. I was quoted 975 shipped for the borg warner s366..

Someone pm'ed me and said that this 1 was'nt a bulleyes turbo not sure the difference in the borg warners. I know the t4 t67 pricing is way cheaper then other prices has well. I wanna make sure i get mine thursday before telling anyone the vendor.
