Default Problem with my syncrowave 200.

When I let off of the pedal sometimes it doesn't stop the arc. It seems like its maybe a contact issue inside the pedal. The machine is brand new, like only used 1 time new. I thought I would post up here first before calling Miller/Cyberweld just in case I am retarded and there is some sort of setting or something that is jacked up?

you should allways let off the pedal slow to termitate the arc.

but if your foot is all the way off and the arc is still going, then the micro switch in the pedal is screwed up.

yeah that's what I do, and when the pedal is all the way out, it's still arcing, so I have to tap the pedal like 10 times to get the arc to stop. I figured it was an internal issue.

3/32" I've tried all kinds of amperages on all kinds of different metals. some aluminum sheet, some 1/4" carbon steel plate, Nickel Copper pipe. It does it every time, which is why I thought it might be a setting on the machine I just wasn't aware of, I'm gonna try and get a new pedal or get mine fixed. I grind the tungstens to a blunt point, grinded area 15* angle, and about 3/16" long.

Read the manual and see if you have the adjustments set right.

There is a setting where you can ajust for arc for "soft" "midium" or "hard" on how fast it arcs.

I just got my peddle fixed on my 200, I think two weeks ago. A wire was cut inside.

I took it apart and just bent the little tab that actuates the micro-switch. Works like a champ now!
