i just got my 94 CX about a week ago... wow has it been a week... or 2 weeks.. crap i dont know...

my clutch is making a squeak type noise when i push in the clutch...
where would i 'lube' it up... this is my first car with a hydro tranny... and what other stuff could i check.... l

 

Pull the dust boot out of your tranny and look inside with a flash light and look for the pivot point of your throwout lever. Lube it there and where the fork contacts the throwout bearing. Also you can lube the clutch pedal itself. Use a good quality lithium spray grease.

 

mine does it too...seems common on civics....just turn up the radio

is the squeak inside/outside of the cabin?

Usually just the clutch pedal itself.

 

i would, however, thanks to the theif community i am radioless (prior owner had it stolen) and after 2 weeks i still would rather not put in a stereo... just another thing someone would want to steal
