there is a tube that comes out at the bottom passenger side firewall. but cant seem to figure out where it goes!

 

I think you are looking at the AC drain line if it is underneath the car. It's a hose designed to allow condensation from the AC system under your dash to drain out of the car. It's not supposed to go anywhere.

 

^^^^ agreed that hose just dumps out the firewall to the ground.
