Default alternator woes

this may not be the right placebut heres what I got going on
I cant get the alternator to charge the battery, I've had it checked it at two different places both of whom said it was good. I checked all the fuses pertaining to the alternator and they were good, I also opened up the harness and checked for broken wires and there was nothing. Does anyone have any ideas what it could be or what voltage should be coming out of the harness on which wires? Im thinking about just wiring around the harness from where they originated but Im not 100% sure where they start. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I'm in the same situation. The shop I had it at told me I fried a few wires when I cut into the starter wire and I have to find a new wiring harness. Problem is I don't know which harness I need and I can't seem to find those fried wires. gluck.

If you start your car and then disconnect the batt. what happens?
Have you checked the main fuses with a multimeter, or just looked at them?
Have you metered the charge output lead from the alt.?
What is the MM&Y of the car? 94
