Default Pics or links to site for proper seat and harness mounting

I am looking at ways to safely lower my seating position and I also want to make sure that my harnesses are properly installed. I have used the stock 96 Integra sliders with a piece of 3/8 steel plate bolted to the sliders using #9.8 grade bolts then a piece of the same 3/8 steel acts as a washer and the seat (UltraSheild Pro Race) is sandwiched in between the plates again using #9.8 bolts. I know that this seat requires a seat back brace and I will be building one similar to the IOport model. Any pics of a welded-in rail system and harness mount locations would be very helpful.

After doing a search I see what I have done is fine but what are you guys using to get the seating lower in the car?

Thanx as always guys and happy holidays

cheers

hey mike. i cut the humps out of my car and bolted it straight to the floor. i used backing plates (like bolt in roll cages) for reinforcement. my sparco seat sits high naturally, but after bolting it to the floor (with the sparco side mounts) i actually had to race it up a little bit. if you're stuck, maybe take a look at shawn's seats. he uses the stock sliders i believe and that seat feels like you're sitting on the floor.
