Default UGR Valves?? WTF?

I just bought a bunch of S2K stuff from someone on here, No names, not trying to start ****, and instead if S2K high comp valves I received UGR hi comp valves.

Does anyone know if these are any good?? The rest of the stuff I can find from them on the net looks shady >.<. Do these suck? Did I get ripped a new one?

Let me know ppl!

UGR is obviously gettin their cams from the same place that skunk2/blox are getting their cams from. i would assume the same about their valves. just a guess though

Yep, my father and I are using a complete UGR valvetrain in his B20VTEC CRX.

Car trapped 110mph last time we went to Beaver Springs.

While I won't go as far to say that the new Skunk2 products come from the same exact place, I wouldn't be surprised if the older Skunk2 stuff and UGR came from the same plant.

Here's what they look like.

So far, there has been no issues with them. Leakdown numbers on his engine are less than 4% on all cylinders, and compression tests great at 285psi across. There is absolutely zero oil consumption as well.

Yup,

those are the ones!! What I dont like is the way that some of the valve stems connect to the throat of the valves.

It just seems to me that, because of the angle, under heat stress the sides of the valve stem would expand at different rates and cause the head of the valve to be slightly angled.

I think it's more the inconsistancy of the valves that bothers me more than anything... they just look sloppy

First rule of thumb, if you do not like how they look, don't use them.
2nd rule of thumb, go with your own thoughts, and not internet crap.
3rd rule of thumb, buy new parts from the Mfg., then you do not have to whine on the internet if you do not like the part, just return them.
4th rule of thumb, you get what you pay for, and you deserve it.
