Default B16A CRX - Axle hitting shock fork

One of the reasons I've been asking about axles for the EF-B16A swap is that my driver's side axle is hitting the forward leg of the shock fork at extreme suspension travel with the wheels turned, and also during aggressive clutch release with the wheels straight ahead. Is this normal, or is it an indication of incorrect axles?

Thanks.
