D15 sohc non vtec
I was wondering if it is worth boostin the motor I have already. The thing is its still has 61,000 miles. I have kept the motor in good shape. Yes or no??? I know the majority of you guys would say swap for a b series but I might as well use the motor I still have.

If you're talking of a CS motor (D15B8) I wouldn't say do anything to it.
Though if you're talking about the LX/DX motor (D15B7) and it's in good shape - go for it.
Though "keeping it in good shape" is a variable statement. Do a compression test, see how the compression is on it, see if it holds good compression.
If it holds good compression, and you know you've taken good care of it, boost it. What's the worst that can happen, you blow it? Not like they're rare or anything.
EDIT:
I would just do some prep work before you boost it, such as changing the headgasket, plugs, wires, etc.

And before anyone says anything about aftermarket rods not being affordable, I know someone that's developing D15 rods. They should be around the same price as Eagles, and are due out I believe in April.
