First i found out i was throwing codes number 1 and 41. then i wired up a new 4 wire universal 02 sensor. then it just threw code 1. all connections and fuses are good. pretty sure i wired it up right. couldn't find any help on all data. any ideas on what could be wrong? thanks.

I think that might be it. If your car is OBD2 then try moving your working secondary OE sensor to the primary location and install the universal one in the secondary location. The ECU needs a more accurate reading from the primary O2 sensor than the secondary one.
