I guess no one read the post
It is not stolen, they did not do it on purpose, its not supposed to be street legal.
Honda Japan sells them to race teams or people who want fully stripped out versions to prepare for race series that they want to participate in

if i understand, you can have any "jdm car" wich is not legal on the street but you can run it to race it. So i can buy a type-r dc5 and race it? but why it have some legal one in usa? If different in canada law?

you're basically buying a complete chassis with everything installed. like buying a theft recovered vehicle without the interior.
i guess if you're a racer all you need is the chassis/motor/brakes, and you'll probably replace the factory seat anyways with a race bucket seat. and they'll sell this vehicle alot cheaper than a street legal version.

no serial codes it would be useful for street but be nice track car! i believe Spoon sports in Europe sells the DC5's like that No interior just 2 recaros and dash no sound deading or serial numbers etc but for like 18 G's
Honda has always sold (most of) their Type R versions in a 'racer' package. I believe it all started with the EK CTR and DC2R...not sure if any before that could be ordered stripped.
IIRC the CTR came with 15" steelies!

X2
one of the few cars I would consider not converting back to LHD just to improve my currently useless ability to pilot RHD.

That car is a race chassis, race teams buy it to race on the track. It is much cheaper than the street version because it's lacking all the interior pieces. But who needs those when it'll end up being stripped out anyways.
hmmm, this must be the 22,000 one i could buy just a race version, still a bomb car though if your making it a race car, brand new for less than the cost of a used one, and you dont have to be affraid to take the interior out of your brand new expensive car
still pretty sweet though
