Just want to mod my front bar and rear stock spoiler on my crx..

basically cut parts out and then smooth it over with some fibreglass..
just wondering if this is possible and will it bond with the stock bar?

It will work. You just need to scuff the plastic really well with 80 grit sandpaper first. Also use a good degreaser or lacquer thinner to make sure any kind of "armor all" type of product is removed so you have good adhesion.

 

some people say paint may crack due to different expansion of the plastic and fibreglass

anyone else have any more to ad?
