Are Quick racers using ROSS? Yes. Quite a few people use them in the NHRA series (not import) and also in import. But I never heard anything bad about them. the only thing I didn't like about them was the weight

Why don't you experiment with something on your instead of lurching around on the wagon.

1) how much power were you making?

2) do you think the D design is the same as the B design?

the only experience i've had with Ross are in my buddy's Evo. they run a really loose wall clearance. and the thing made so much noise. almost sounded like a knock. but it wasn't.

I have Ross pistons in my street car and it made 411hp on pump gas. So far I have not had an issue.

John Shepherd ran ROSS for years with no issues. Cant deny where he has been. Never an engine failure until he missed a shift(once).

I don't find that hard to believe! Those two company's shelf stuff is very good and I'll vouch for SSC's early set ups on the Hot Rod car 8's and 800hp+ on shelf pistons!

I have ran JE, CP, Arias, and Wiseco off the shelf pistons in the 600-700whp range with no issues whatsoever.

The tuner can destroy anything.....haha

I've only installed a handful of Ross pistons, but all took everything threw at them(all were 600whp or less street cars if that matters). But for lack of issues I give the to Arias, CP, Wiseco, and Ross.

Ive been waiting for Arias to ditch those heavy *** round forgings and step up to a dedicated slipper or strutted forging forever now. Milling a round forging to nothing (220 grams or below at 90mm) has never apealed to me. Its never made for a reliable piston.

I would love to see Arias come out with new forgings
