I have a 88 CRX Si with a DOHC ZC engine....in the winter i was thinking about building up the engine can someone help me out and tell me he parts i need etc.... like what rods to get, Pistons, and studs. I am just starting to learn about engines so your help would be appreciated. I am hoping to reach atleast 150HP to the wheels ALL MOTOR. I will post some pics of my CRX as soon as i get it back it is kinda Ricey but i am going to make it fast also don't worry.

I need to know like the Internal parts of the engine.... like connection rods, is there a different valve tran i can get? what pistons stuff like that.
You can get pistons/rods from Endyn (www.theoldone.com). I'm putting together a NA D16A1 (internally the same as a ZC) with Eagle rods, and the 11.8:1 CR rollerwave pistons. There isn't much in the way of valvetrain available for ZC's. A variety of regrind cams, or the infamous HKS units if you can find them.
You can get ARP fasteners, but they don't offer a "kit". I'm using the Chrysler 2.2 kit for the bottom end and a B series kit for the head. There's only a few fasteners that don't work because Honda uses longer lengths in the center of the block/head. You can get the correct lengths from ARP individually.

Yep....
I think these are ARP's part numbers, I took them right off the boxes:
Bottom end = 241-4501 (chrysler 2.2l)
head = 208-4303 (Acura VTEC)
