i have a 93 hatch with a mini-me swap and i start my car and it idles at 2000 rpms and if i dont leave it will gradually go to 1000 after about 10 min but if i leave it will surge from 15 to 2000 rpms but after i drive it about 10 min it stops and idles at 1000 rpms. the funny thing is when i pump the brakes it surges until i stop pumping. brake booster or vacuum problem????????????

 

your FITv needs to be re-adjusted or replaced. What happens is that the valve can get stuck open, giving you a vaccum leak that is uneccessary, causing an odd idle, even when the IACv isnt throwing a code.
