Default H2B Question!?!

Ok this is what im workin with I got a H swap in my 97 coupe and as many of you know you have to cut a hole in the floorboard to put the shifter in. I have had the swap for so long and now there is the whole H2b craze goin on. Next summer i will be around 500 whp i want a more reliable trans to put in and h2b sounds like the ticket. How would i go back to linkage after i hacked a hole through my floor to run cables

I always wondered this myself, as in what would happen if you had an H/F swap and wanted to convert back to a typical linkage.

My answer: Welder + Sheet metal

unless you hacked the **** out of the floor the two mounting points should still be on the floor to mount the OEM B linkage. You just need to seal it up with some factory sheetmetal from a donor car.

here are a couple pics I stole from Poison. As you can see the two mounting points are still retained.
