Weird Noise
I got this weird noise coming from my engine compartment when I'm Idling with the car out of gear and clutch not pushed in but when i push my petal down it stops my Tranny Fluid is full and the only problem I have with my tranny is 3rd gear doesnt like to go in but i already know what that is and i dont think it would make that noise plus my clutch and throw out bearing were replaced 1000 miles ago so its not that idc someone know what this is i think its my input shaft but whats wrong with it?
a thats what i thought i found a guy around me who rebuilds them and told me he would throw in carbon coated gears and it would help shift faster and last longer
I have a B18C5 just put in my four door i had a D16Z6 that was making the noise and someone wants my D16 but i didnt want to give it to them with a f#$k tranny

yeah man i would just buy a new used tranny insted of rebuilding bro. and yes a rear main seal can contribute to the problem, it causes your clutch to go out faster and your bearings that about it. i have had a rear main seal leak since i bought my new tranny lol
how long do they normally last with it going out cause this person just wants to drop it in i told i didnt know it could be 1 day or 3 years but idk
