The dumbass I am I took off my wires to clean them, now I dont remember what order they go from the distrubutor to the valve cover? Does it matter? Can anyone tell me which order they go in ASAP? I have to work in a couple hours! Thanks Guys in Advance..

 

1-3-4-2 one is the far right plug on the head and 7 o'clock on the distributor.

bottom left to right 1,2
top left to right 3,4

As above his little drawing hehe

 

1, 3, 4, 2.. start from the bottom left plug on the distributor and go up/clockwise

like this:

And then the #1 plug is the farthest to the right (looking at the valve cover) and proceeds to go to the left correct? Like this:?

That will make it easier for me to remember. I have looked this up a dozen times I think I never looked at it that way.

 

there is an actual number on each wire tells you which one is which

 

not on some aftermarket wires.. or at least not on my magnecors

 

I 2nd that my magnecor doesn't says it either...

 

my ngks had yellow stickers that said the number!

 

The wires are not the issue. I don't think there are numbers on the distributor cap. If you have the distributor number, anyone should be able to get the longest wire on number one.
