Spark Plug Wires on Distributor, what order?
The dumbass I am I took off my wires to clean them, now I dont remember what order they go from the distrubutor to the valve cover? Does it matter? Can anyone tell me which order they go in ASAP? I have to work in a couple hours! Thanks Guys in Advance..
1-3-4-2 one is the far right plug on the head and 7 o'clock on the distributor.

1, 3, 4, 2.. start from the bottom left plug on the distributor and go up/clockwise
like this:

And then the #1 plug is the farthest to the right (looking at the valve cover) and proceeds to go to the left correct? Like this:?

The wires are not the issue. I don't think there are numbers on the distributor cap. If you have the distributor number, anyone should be able to get the longest wire on number one.
