go peep your warranty booklet in the owners manual thing.
next time i go out to my car i will check.

but I'm pretty sure it doesn't
and if it did, it would not cover problems due to you "abusing the car"

They'll take it apart, find the cause, and then try and find the reason that it happened. Often they will try to deny a warranty claim if they think your driving is suspicious (burnt out clutch in 10k miles, for example), but you can always work up the ladder if they deny your claim. The fluid change should show up in service records though, which can work to your advantage.

You don't have to take of teh CAI, plenty of people have cold air intakes with no problems.

Magnuson Moss Warranty act states, if they can't prove your part did it, your warranty claim is not denied.

cause some one told me they hook up a computer to the ECU and it tells them y it got damaged ..but the last time i drove the car...i was driving it to my gf house and when i was on my way there i noticed the car was feeling weird and i was shifting at 6500 rpms and i notice vtec was laggin it so then i hit 8000 and vtec was laggin like crazy and then the tranny started making a noise like if i pastic bottle was stuck on the wheel and it would bang every time the tire rotated once ..and then i turned around and drove it home and the noise just got louder and then every time it would make the noise i could start feeling it in the tranny

it records freeze frame failure points. if a dtc is set, it records everything from wheel speed sensors, engine rpm, ECT all the way to if your A/C was on. I wouldn't worry. Warranty is rarely based on freeze frame failure records, thats to say if it even set a dtc.
