I have been searching and I just need a little clarification. I unfortunately needed to replace both doors on my 00 si. The doors on the car are NOT power. I have my old si doors. I should be able to take out the entire power window regulator and all plugs out of my si doors and put them in my non power doors and be fine with that? Do I need to swap the door latch internals in order to keep the keyless entry. The reason I ask is because my car got painted and my body guy doesnt want to put the door handles on the new doors before I do the swap because he said I might need to take them back off. Does anyone know if this is true?

 

yes you can swap everything over. If you want to retain your power door locks, you will need to switch over your power door lock actuator.

 

so i should not put my door handles on until I swap everything?

 

I would go ahead and swap all of your internals first. Then door handles last since their being painted
