Default A few car cover questions

I just bought a full car cover for my car, (i have no garage available to me)

I was just wondering a few things, ( stupid questions)

Would this protect my paint job from the sun?

Would it prevent rust better in the winter?

Well it depends on the cover but....

Any cover should block out most of the sun rays.

As far rust it depends on if your cover is water proof and also the humidity in the air. If your car is kept outside and there is a lot of humidity in the air your car can still come in contact with moisture from the high humidity.

The cover needs to be breathable. If not you will trap moisture underneath, making it worse than not even having one.
