Default b20 vtec help

im about to build my b20 vtec this week and ive been reading alot about clearance issues..and also about how much power this setup makes..im goin to be running a stock b20b block..stock pistons, arp rod bolts..or course vtec oil and water pumps..ls crank and ls rods..b16 head..pretty much fully worked..full port and polish, skunk 2 springs and retainers..itr headers..evo2 exhaust..comptech box intake..b16 tranny..stage 2 clutch..im plan on using skunk 2 stage 2 cams..so my question is will have clearance issues with these cams..if so what should i do..and about how much power will this setup make..please help..

do yourself a favor and dont run stock B20 pistons, if you're already installing arp rod bolts, The correct way of installing them is by removing the pistons/rods from the block anyways..why not just replace the pistons while you're at it....

nice set up, but why use ls rods and crank? They are identical just get the rods shotpeened and balanced. Stock pistons are fine. Just keep the RPM's below 8000. build your setup, get it tuned, and see the numbers

yea u can use stock pistons but I would def put 11:1 or 12:1 compression get a little more power and will handle the 8k rpm range for sure
