Im swapping the enging/trans on a 1998 ls auto with a 1995 gsr manual.

The 95 gsr will have the auto LS enging/trans.

The 98 LS will have the 95 gsr engine/trans.

sounds like a waste of time!

that is so reversed engineered it isn't even funny....

you might as well pull the dashes and swap out all the wiring too

see....i'm a mod here.....

your questions were vague to say the least....

if i were in a really bad mood i'd dock you points and all....but i'm not like that....

you asked....

you are reverse engineering the whole thing....

it is way way too much work to go from a manuel to an automatic....i can see doing a auto to manuel....but the other way around is going to be too much work...

you are going to have to change all the pedals
all the wiring harness in front of the fuel pump....

change mounts.....

do you want me to go on???

i think i know what i'm talking about i'm not the guy who asked the question in the first place!!

The reason Im doing it is because I have a built enine and trans in my 95 gsr in wisconsin. The body is in rough shape. I bought the 98 in california and it is in great shape. When all is done i will have a winter beater 95 with the ls and a 98 with the built engine and all.

if you're so set on it, why don't you just start pulling it apart and figuring it out.

keep it tech, ask specific questions as to what you need.

by the looks of it you need both cars in front of you.
