Child Support Lien
im tryin to buy my friends tl but there is a child support lien on it.. we live in wisconsin and hes movin away so he wants to get rid of it.. is there anyway to get the lien off so i can buy it without it bein on the title? if anyone knows.. i would greatly appreciate it.. i just want to be assured that if i do pay for it, the lien wont come back to me.. and child support will take it..
the lien is around 13,000.. what if its not possible for him to pay for it all right now? do you think they will still release the lien if i buy it? or if there are anyways around it?

that would probably be your best bet right there. the lein won't be removed unless it's satisfied so whatever you're buying it for just put it towards that and tell your buddy you'll go and pay it off for him to get the lein off.

It means that the full amount owed was paid.
