does the light go off in the dash when it stops working, the little green light that goes on when you turn the AC on..??? If it does go out, its just a simple connection in that control box.. Wire tie the wiring harness to the side, connection will work..

if the light is on, just recharge the unit.. If that doesn't work, your AC compresser could be bad, if y ou need a used one, let me know, I have 2 extra...

Sounds like it's low on refrigerant. The compressor won't cycle if there's not enough in the system. My '88 Si will do this occasionally, especially on really hot days.

i had the same problem with mine (blew out warm air). First of all get it checked for leaks, u can buy the dye pretty cheap at any autoparts store. If their are no leaks recharge the fluid since we have r 134a its relatively cheap. If its still not working dont automatically asume its ur compressor. I thought my compressor was messed up but really all i had to do was free up the clutch (clean the rust off) and now it works great. if none of that works than ull probably need a new compressor. Good luck.
