honestly it looks like a k20a2 with red valve cover. You can look on the side (left side) of the motor and there will be a sticker that will tell you. but the reason i say it's a k20a2 is because the dipstick is orange. the k20a comes with a black dipstick.

Why is that? it should be a direct drop in right?

Its not worth the money to swap... You'd be better off modding your A2 and getting more power for less money.

Well my DC5 is a k20a unless the engine no. on the block was altered before i bought it and the dipstick is orange. I've never driven or experienced any other k20

Like some1 said its rlly not worth the money, u prob could sell ur engine for bout 3.5k maybe 4 at the most a k20a is goin to cost u over 5k...and the difference is like 10-15 hp

Ive always said i would do a k20a swap but only if my engine got completely destroyed but that would be a scary day if that ever happen

sell your swap for about 3200
purchase k20a swap for about 5600

for approx 2400 you get:
better header
better cams already installed
better valvetrain already installed
better/higher compression pistons already installed
better intake manifold already installed
better/smaller diameter crank pulley already installed
better/higher final drive already installed
better/more aggressive gearing already installed
better differential already installed
better valve cover LOL
better dip stick LOL
better overall powerband
better than aftermarket upgrade options reliability issues (lots of people experiencing timing chain slap and oil pump failure with aftermarket cams)
better/higher resale value of swap
better/matched ECU for your engine setup (PRC ECU)

seems like a decent deal to me.
