Default every bump i hit my hatch raddles. is it loose? how do i tighten things up?

it is very annoying and makes my car sound crappy when every bump i hit my hatch in the back rattles like crazy or bangs really bad.

i dont know what it is. i put weather stripping on the inside to tighten it up and make it softer if it does hit but it did nothing.

it also feels as if the panel on the drop down part of the hatch is sort of loose.. how do i tighten that? if there is a way to?

this is one thing thats been bothering me and would make such a big difference in my ride quality if it was fixed

thanks

have you loweed the car? if so what type of springs? struts?
also, bad bushings would give the car bad handling, noise, and poor ride quality.

naw im on stock suspension.
my suspension does sound really stiff.
i just dont like how my hatch bangs on every bump. it is because of the stiff suspension. i started a thread before to ask why my stock suspension was so stiff. ionno it looks like the rear drivers side looks dropped or lower than the other side. ionno if that means something blown or something ionno.

take some time and look underneath there. this will reveal the answer to your question. blown shocks and/or shot bushings will give the car poor handling and ride feel, making the car feel stiff, but sloppy.

some of the bushings are visible once you get underneath the car, especially the one's that connect the struts at the LCA. you really don't have to tak the wheels of when you jack the car up, but it will make the job alittle easier!

hope my advice was helpful.
