are you sure its going to the ebrake handle?? i know this is how it works on newer pontiac but never really thought it could be done to a civic, but it can after thinking about it.. i would just open up the center console where the brake handle is and find the wires and relayz that were used to trigger it and remove them.. now if the ebrake - trigger was tapped into somewhere else you will just ahve to find the wire and cut it for the most part.. cant tell you how to undo something i cant see or never seen done (although have an idea on how to do it)

 

Thanks 95civicex, I know about that, the wiring is a **** up under the dash, it's not my car, but my g/f 90 civic dx, the dude who had the car before plug everything together, but I don't he plug it on the parking light, more on all the lights, cuz before at night, you would let go the hand-brake, all the light would open up except the gauge cluster, so I don't know the way he did it. But now the worse, the all the lights don't work anymore, neither with the hand-brake or the switch. But when I press the brake, all the lights go on???????/I'm confused!!! Help would be greatly appreciated

I don't get this board sometimes, when car are posted for info how they look, shitloads of people reply, but when there a question asked, no one answer( sorry 95civicex ) or you get some tumbsup?????? Maybe I should a posted a picture with the question????? Not bashing no one but I have a decent question and I'm no rookie to this sport neither but help is needed!!!

sorry i can't give you any help, but i agree with you on this board, if you can't find something by searching you're prolly not going to get you answer here.

 

the previous owner must have made a modification some where along the wiring for the lights . I would get a shop manual with all the wiring and relay sckmatics(sp?) and start from one end of the lighting system to the next and look for anything that might be added on
