Default CTR CF cluster Surround?...not the meter trim

Ok so i have seen it once or twice on this board before, but with relentless searching i have come up with nothing. I would like to find a certain OEM peace which i am certain is not produced in the US.

It is the Faux Carbon Fiber look that ITR/CTR's come trimmed with, on the guage cluster trim. i am not talking about the meter trim, im talking about the plastic peace in between the steering collumn and the guage cluster.

#12 but in the Faux Carbon Fiber Type R trim.

if anyone even has a picture of it sicne i cant find that id be greatly indebted. if you know what car it came out of id be even happier. im going to try and use one of my dads many business connections in japan/other countries to source this part. I know it is something very small and simple but it is what i want, i dont want real CF it looks cheesy, i can live with the stock plastic but if ic an find this peace id be VERY happy

any help would be greatly appreciated

I've never seen that part in faux C/F on either the ITR or CTR, including the Rx models. Where did you originally see this?

Hmmm interesting, ive never seen this either... maybe a company started making them aftermarket? or painting the cf pattern on oem peices and reselling them?

Yeah, the only cluster bezels that come in CF or Faux CF are aftermarket.

These are all over Yahoo Japan Auction, seller swmp811 sells them. I am able to obtain them as well as anybody using a YJA service.

which is why i said just guessing but i guess even caps isnt big enough for u to understand

the one i saw was not glossy at all it was very dull actually and looked just like the trim that goes around the door switches, etc... on integra type R's...it may not be OEM...but i was still curious as to if anyone else has seen it.

a very very very rare amount of ctr's from japan came with the piece your looking for my buddy owns one if i can get a pic i will post it up. the piece is very rare he got it from some guy in japan on an ebay auction payed about 280 shipped. i really like how it looks matches the cluster and climate very nicely but best of luck finding one almost as rare as finding authentic mugen valences.

That link is pure evil. The expletiveer uses scripting in his eBay add.
