Default Where do these wires go? (trying to wire amplifier)

I am trying to fish a power cable from my battery to my amp and I cannot seem to find a good opening. I poked a hole in the gromet behind the fusebox and started pushing the 6ga wire that way, and it went a little ways then stopped. I was curious if I just hit another gromet on the inside? Where do these wires come out on the inside? Or is there a better way to do what I'm trying to do? Sorry I tried searching but I couldn't find any quick answers...back to the car....

Without the make & model of the car you're working on, how the hell do you expect us to provide any useful information??

In the Del Sol and Integra that I've owned, it's always been a safe bet to go through the firewall below and beside the battery tray. There is a grommet that you can pull out and it's about the size of a 4 awg wire so you can pass most wires through it. I had to hog mine out, but it comes out to the lower right hand side of the battery when looking from the engine compartment.

...but if you have any other car I really can't help you out. Like the others have said, knowing the model would help out a ton.

Go from the inside, there should be pre-cut holes that are closed on the heavy cloth/paper material, and pull one out. Now you just look for where the lights coming in from.

Those holes on the inside aren't lined up with the grommets.

I don't know what car you are talking about, but this is not usually the case...

Well, on my 1998 civic lx, there's pre-cut holes on the interior...um...cloth I guess you would call it. It's right under the fusebox, and some are plugged up with white little cups that can fit a big plastic screw in the middle. I'll take some pics.
