Well I wrecked my baby.....
Well here are the pics after my wreck on I-77 here in Charlotte Sunday. I was going about 65MPH when a lady in an MDX came into my lane. When I swerved I over corrected and she hit me then we spun and hit the concrete wall. All I can say is these are safe cars. Airbags didn't even deploy. Also I have not even one scratch or bruise, I have nothing. Other than a $7,900.00 Repair bill. Thank goodness that I only have a $100 deduc. And yes everyone is okay.

And here she was before

Yeah I think I am ok on the frame, but today they were putting it on the frame testing machine to see if everything is ok.
Thanks guys!

Glad everyone's ok. If it were me, I'd be hoping for a total. That way you don't have a big accident on your carfax when you try to sell it. Just my opinion though, again, glad everyone's ok.
Yeah buddy good thing your alright. Traffic around charlotte is getting stupid. last night rush hour(12/17) I was on 485 inner loop at johnston rd. some red van about 3 cars in front of me blows a tire almost took out both cars next to him. he spun around not touching anyone and stopped about 20 feet in front my car I was in the inside shoulder half in the grass. i get out to see if the guy is all right. his eyes were the size of golf *****. and there were about 5 people in the back same scared look on there face... well ... everyone was ok so i keep going. oh same thing about happened at the pinevile / 51 exit but the guy controlled it. Im never driving rush hour in the winter again.
sorry for the long write up... hope your car turns out alright. looked good before the wreck.

Yeah I thought about that, but honestly I had planned on keeping the car anyway. So yeah. But it was upsetting that I have babied this car since the day i bought it 2 years ago in March, JUST in case I did decide to sell it, so it would be worth more. Cause the car is garage kept, and I use a Honda car cover if I am not driving it. But you get the picture, the car WAS mint. So in 4 seconds all the 2 years of babying is down the drain.....

thats one of mine biggest fears and probably the most likely thing to happen is people changing into your lane without checking their blind spot. So I always pass quickly.
All these accidents are starting to freak me out. It's turning into the auto version of "Final Destination". Our cars are dropping like flies.
wow, that sucks but I'm glad you're okay !
but yes RICO_, I know... last week I was checking out the wrecked thread on 8thcivic and the next day I nearly got wrecked twice !

So far i've dodged an A/C unit that fell off a truck.
..........A king-size bed mattress.
..........and a Christmas tree.

All will be well in the end, my friend. There's no other alternative

My sister just took a ladder to the underside of her (my former) G35 coupe.
70 mph + ladder = $8500 parts and labor for a new bottom end.
Guy didn't even stick around...I woulda chased his ***. (car still drives, she got home)
