If you take out your cruise control from the engine bay, can you safely remove the cuise control black box from under the dash or does it work with anything else?

This is on a 2000 Si

 

i was lazy and just pulled the unit aout and snipped the cable lol..not sure bout the box under the dash

does removing it do anything? performance wise?

 

No, it was just in the way of me wiring stuff and since I dont have cruise anymore I just wanted to be sure it was safe to remove and toss.

Going back a long time since i removed that useless piece of **** from my car taking up space LOL however

You can remove the following

Engine bay module
Under the left hand side (drivers side) black box
I also think there is a fuse you can remove as well might want to check your manual for that one or i can check it for you...
