Default ek fuel line vs. eg fuel line

I am using a y8 intake manifold in my 94 coupe and i have come to find that the fitting at the end of the ek fuel rail is smaller than an eg fitting. I scavanged around my garage, found an ek line and I still have a fuel leak. It appears that the nut that I have doesn't thread far enough onto the fitting to seal. Not only this..but the majestic honda diagram shows that ek's only use 1 washer on each while eg's use 2 or 3.

I'm a little confused. Someone help me
