Default 22mm rear swaybar subframe reinforcement

What is the best simplest subframe reinforcement for the rear swaybar?

Can you take a picture of what you are talking about? I have a integra type r rear sway bar, and EX set of LCA's and a beaks kit, but i modified it when i added the comptech support.
I was told the sway bar supports would probably break after a period of time so i have been looking into having something fabricated that was more durable .

the sixth picture down from the top of the asr kit.... you see the C shaped mounts...
This is what i was told will eventually fail/crack
anyone have issues with the stock ones or ones from this kit?

I think you'll probably be fine with just the Beaks kit for a 22mm bar on an EG. You can find some topics about people tearing their EK subframe with the Beaks kit, but, I don't recall reading about problems for the EGs. The sway bar mount location on the EGs is a lot better than the EKs.

If you're running fairly stiff springs, it'll be even less of a concern. I've had a Beaks kit with my 22mm ITR bar for 6 or 7 years. For the first 3 of those years, I autocrossed with off the shelf Ground Controls, which had really soft rear springs (250 lb/in or something). I've got stiffer springs back there now and don't even think about it.

If I was to do it all over, I'd probably get the ASR kit too, but if it will cost you an arm and a leg, I think the Beaks will be just fine.

unless you think the asr kit is going to be over kill why not pay the extra money for piece of mind. replacing a rear subframe is a pain.

-never had to worry about my itr rear subframe because it's plenty thick.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Weel &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote"> ASR looks good, but I need function for my car without the bling. </TD></TR></TABLE>

The ASR is more function than BLING.
