So i talked to Tony @ Skunk2 a while ago when he posted up that he wanted a few people to test out the new Pro C coilovers they just bought out, they looked good, so it was a decision between Tein flex, or the Pro C's, i saved up some money and went for the Pro C's
First off, Tony's service was awesome, payed for them and he sent them out same day!
Box arrived in about a week later:

Opened it up:

Skunk2 Pro C coilovers
Skunk2 LCAs in Gold
Skunk2 T-Shirt
Skunk2 stickers
Skunk2 Resivour covers
:D
The machining and finish on the LCA's is awesome and also the new bushes they have got in there are way better than any normal style bush, when i had the coilover bolted to the LCA, you can move the LCA freely with your hand unlike other bushes, heres some more pics:

Pulled the shocks out of the box, once again the maching and finish is good just like the LCA's.
I noticed between the spring and the spring pearch there is a nylon or teflon washer which i havnt seen on my D2's or Daiyamas.
The tophat is sort of extended? like the GC coilovers i think it is?
The shock body etc is alot larger like the Teins unlike the D2's and Daiyamas, thats about all the differences i could see, oh and brake brackets!
More pics:

They all went in easy with no problems like good coilovers should, no making brake brackets up
Installed:

This is on the lowest setting they can go on, i could get the front lower by preloading the spring a bit, but i dont need it any lower as the front camber kit allready hits the shock tower
The rear goes pretty low
that will be going up too as its pretty much impossible to drive with my stupid big sideskirts on (they are coming off asap)
Pics:

Ride? i havnt really driven fast enough to test them out yet, but im going to put them higher tonight and try and go for a drive tomorrow, but from what i can tell allready is they are quite a bit harder (even with the same spring rates 10kg f/8kg r) as my old Daiyamas. I am most likely going to be getting harder springs for track work.
Because of my whiteline swaybar, i cant fit it back on now because of the larger shock body, the whiteline swaybar is wider than the standard one (i dont know why :-? ) but i think i will get a type r one sorted out soon.
I will update this more when i have driven it more as thats what suspension is all about
Will be testing it out at Bens trackday on Jan 25th too.
Big thanks to Tony @ Skunk2 Racing in the USA!
Oh and check out the top

well just went for a 30min drive to get petrol and they definately feel harder than my old shocks, they were set on hard, but couldnt really test anything out as it was pouring down... maybe will test them out tomorrow when its dry, i hope!
But the real test will be if my lap times are lower or not

nice car!
I have the same coilovers. My write up is here > https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=2157134
You should enjoy them
It looks like you need a rear subframe brace bro! Don't want that subframe to tear now do you?? I have an A Spec Racing brace. They now have a 24mm adjustable bar you can buy as a kit with it now

prices will probably range from $1400-$1600 depending on specials and what not
Check my thread that I posted for more information regarding street and track driving
I personally enjoy them on the streets. They are better than Omni Powers at the same spring rates for sure.. . I like a stiff suspension but it doesn't feel bone jaring like others can.

thanks
with the whiteline 20mm bar it says you dont need to run any subframe reinforcement... but i am going to upgrade to a type r 22mm one with reinforcement (either ASR or custom plates welded on) and see how that goes, i am still getting a bit of understeer on the track.

as 6spdKEG said, around 1400-1600, on the street they feel very good too, the best coilover i have owned so far.
On the hardest setting they are maybe a little bit too hard for the street if you do a bit of driving, but i dont mind
Well its dry today and just went for a thrash, the shocks feel wayy better than the old shocks and also the d2's ( i knew they would be
) that was set on full hard, just about to have a muck around with the settings and go for a drive.
Also that was without the swaybar connected.
Cant wait to get out on the track!

Absolutely
They are much better than a set of Omni Sports at the same spring rate that I ran ~ 2 years ago.

Tony is the man!
I will be testing out the Pro-C's on my ITR Honda Challenge H1 car at VIR very shortly and will provide a detailed write up, I will be running them all season to give Skunk2 the proper race feedback

very nice! Be sure to include details of how the dampers are setup as well. Like valving from Skunk.. . I assume you will be 800# + rates on your car front and rear.
If my car isn't sold by spring time, I'll be running 4-6 HPDEs on these as well. Going with stiffer than stock Skunk spring rates 650-750 on stock valving for a weekend warrior.

Just tested them out on friday at the trackday.
Awesome shocks! definately kept my car alot more level through the corners (that is probly a combination of the shocks and type r rear swaybar) but i also noticed i had alot more grip exiting the corner :D
The car doesnt understeer like it use to, it is just right, alot faster now just from these mods.
Big thanks to Tony @ Skunk2, these shocks are awesome for the price! i would definately reccomend them

they are 17's, if you raised them right up it would be pretty high
