Default Whats your thinking on these HRE wheels.

A friend of mine is getting a divorce and is having to let go of some car parts. I picked these up for a really good deal. They are HRE brushed C20 Comp wheels which are very light. I am in the process of building a show car to put these on. I have Rota wheels now, so this is a nice upgrade.

HRE's versus Rota's... wait, are you actually asking this seriously? Forged multi-piece wheels that are known for product quality... or some cheap, poorly made replica's. I don't think it gets more obvious than that.

I was not comparing the two wheels. I was saying that Hre wheels were a nice upgrade Over Rotas, and I was asking peoples opinions on the looks of the Hre wheels.

The only thing I dont like about these wheels is they are 18s 18x7.5 to be exact.
The smallest size they offer.

Nice wheels, but if that's what they're going on hell no... IMO anything over 15's make them look like crap...16's maybe buy that's pusing it, unless u want it to look like a roller skate..

18" wheels are too big for a CRX. Not just in looks, but also in tire sizing. The smallest 18" tires commonly sold are 215/35-18, which is 5.2 percent larger than your stock size. They will probably rub, they will slow down your acceleration, they will throw off your gauges by 5.2 percent, which is a lot. NOT recommended.

Stickied at the top of this forum is a topic called

Forum Rules and FAQ - READ BEFORE POSTING

It says:

6b. No opinion threads for the appearance of wheels (e.g. "Which wheel will look better on my car?", "What color wheels should I get?")
