What to lubricate latches and hinges with???
I'm sure there are many products out there that will be sufficient (WD40, white lithium grease. etc...), but what is recommend (or the best) for our cars?
Thanks!
Thanks!
what I'VE heard, is lithium grease is what you want for lubricating... wd40 helps remove rusty bolts and stuff. afaik, wd40 attracts a lot of dust/grime

This is what I've always heard/done too...clean with wd40 (only if really dirty, then wipe off) and then lube with lithium grease. I was just wanting to make sure things haven't changed and I was doing this correctly.
Arigato Gozaimasu!

WD-40 is almost worthless. It's best at oiling your tools when you're done using them, if you don't have anything better to use. It's 80% water.
Lithium Grease is for lubricating metal on metal contact. And PB Blaster is a solvent for rusted bolts/stuck parts.
