Will 205/50 15 fit on stock ITR rims?
After I put Dunlop SP5000 205/50 15's on my stock rims the handling of the car felt --- squishy.
If I swap out the wheels and tires with 205/45 R16's, the difference is night and day.. The initial turn in is nice and crisp.
Something to thing about..

I've been running that 205/50 Advan A032Rs for over a year on stock rims. But since I am upgrading to Hoosiers for the track, I am getting Bridgestone S03s very soon. That's a very good size for stock rims, actually.

Are you comparing 205/50 Dunlop's to R compounds??

They are squishy because the tires are brand new. Scrub them in more. The difference between a 50 series and 45 series on a 205 section width tire is only nominal.

These set of Dunlop's are two years old with at least 5000 miles on them. And nope, I'm comparing the Dulop's (All-Season High perf. tires) to the stock 195/50 Re010's.

Oh yeah...I assume you mean the stock 195/55 RE010's, right?
my 205x50's after 15 minutes on the track.... sticky!!
they usually look better than this, but mine are rubbed down on the edges from autocrossing

Yupper. The Toyo 205/50 15 RA-1s fit just fine on the stock rims. If you can swing the $, get them (for all of 8K miles if you're lucky).
Get the 195/50R15 S-03!! They are wider than the 195/55 RE-010 and almost as wide as some 205/50 tires!!! And no quishy steering feel...
