96 broken cigarette lighter
i have a 96 honda accord with a cigarette lighter that has fallen completely out of the dash save for the wires. It still works though. How would i go about repairing this or if necessary replacing it
Mines fell off too. I jus hit the junkyard and got another cover, the piece around the cigarette lighter. You have to take the stereo off if you have aftermarket it will be easy. wire it up and everything just pops back in. any other ??? just let me know.

You know you could have just gone to walmart or anywhere and bought a new cig lighter for like $5...
You slide it through from the front and then there's a giant nut that screws on to the back of it if I remember correctly (its been a while since i replaced mine). In the case of the original poster you may just be able to tighten the nut back up from the back. Gotta take the center console apart to get the radio molding off unfortunately to get to it...

Mine did this. You just have to tighten it down. Just take apart your black console part and hold the inside and screw it back on. and some glue to make it stay that way.
I know this topic is 5 months old now, but I wanted to post my thanks that you guys had an answer. I've searched all over the web and this is the only place that lists a solution to this problem even though many people have the same issue. I'm assuming it's from plugging in mobile phone chargers and then yanking it too hard when removing it. That's what happened to me.
