H22 Turbo Manifold
If i decided to swap a H22 into my 1992 Civic Hatch, and then turbocharged it, would I need to get a custom built turbo manifold or will any aftermarket turbo manifold fit the engine while in my 92 EG? There are no shops with in like 120 miles of where i live so this will help decide weither i stick to a B series or drop a H22. Thanks guys.
The only person I know of who makes H22 manifold is spoolin performance. He made mine "project dc2" on this website. That's not to say that someone else won't make one for you but he's the only one I know of off the top of my head. Then-again I don't really know whats going on in the manifold industry.
So they make them upon order? I was under the impression that measurment and all was required. Thanks man for the advice, i'll check that out right now.
SLS makes some nice H22 manifolds...they're using my buddy Eric's car for a mockup at the shop right now...i know they have a topmount, ramhorn and a shorty for the Prelude chassis...i'm sure they could make it work for your needs too.
PM PSI2HI and see what he can do for you...Nick has helped me out many times

yeah, i know some people have told me that the manifolds that come with some of the turbo kits have problems due to engine bay space. I'm not sure if this was true which is why i came to ask you guys at HT. i've had mixed answers on other forms and shops whenever i call them. some say that any manifold weither it be normal or turbo will fit even if the case being in a 92 civic, and that space will not be a problem, and then others say that it will not fit and that i will have to get a custom built turbo manifold to fit the engine in its bay for that car. websites usually only specify which engine code its for, so hopefully the car the engines in will be no problem. Thanks again guys for the help.

Don't believe that space isn't an issue, its a huge issue! The manifold design is critical to the placement of everything like wastegate and downpipe. Clearance between the turbo and the block, etc. It can become a nightmare if the manifold isn't made just for your purpose, H22 in a Civic HB. Make sure whoever makes it for you knows that, and knows what radiator you're using.
