Other mods/maint info:
-AC has been retrofitted to r134a, conversion included a rebuilt compressor, custom ac lines, and aluminum crossflow condenser.
-lifetime alignment from Firestone was purchased for the car, i have had SW alignment set the camber and only use firestone to check in annually.
-I have done most of the maintenance work on the car, up until June of 2006 I worked in a Honda repair specialist.
-Oil changes every 5k miles with high mileage blend oils used.
-timing belt has about 45k on it
I have had this car since November 1997. Its been extremely reliable and treated me really well never having left me on the side of the road. I purchased with 65k miles from Spring Branch Honda. At 138k I had the swap done, and then had to redo it due to numerous problems. At 175k I replaced the h22 as I had cracked ring lands in the first h22a. I put a lower mileage accord wagon transmission (Prelude final drive with accord gear spacing) purchased from William's Auto Salvage with 25k miles on it at the time, it shifts very smooth and has no grinds.
There are no major problems I am aware of on the car at this time. The only problems I see are:
-paint is fading/oxidizing badly on the roof.
-front bumper cover needs paint, its unpainted black. I had cut up the original one to put mesh in years ago (stupid looking back on it), and the rear bumper has marks from the license plate of a chevy pick up on it. The rear also has been slightly cut to clear the old exhaust, so there are 2 exhaust cutouts.
-there are minor door dings on the car and the hood has a small dent on it.
I AM NEGOTIABLE ON PRICE!!
I admit I am pricing it high, but that is more to filter out non serious people only.
