Default Complete 12-13 Second Check list

Good Day, we all love our honda's
And i would like to propose we have a 12-13 second check list.

i know 10 seconds is extreme, and a 12-13 will make most people happy.

If we create this list in Priority order people can do the mods and we can follow there performance gains. Yes we all wanna be the fastest or at least competitive and currently the guys running in the 10's are the guys with the BIG cash and i know they wanna keep there sectets(Let them keep it) buts lets put our heads together and see how far honda tech can take us.

Has anyone been monitoring anyone who has taken there car from the 16 seconds into the 12-13's....

This is a Broad subject so lets start at the END, how much power will see us in the 12's? with the correct setup in full street trim? 500hp from a B16 too much?

I dont know where this topic is gonna go but it needs to be well documented and broken up into the specific Catergorys like HP, Tracion, Weight, Then elaborated on.

"How does a ghetto turbo'd H get into the 12's? i have a 1500cc BTW"

it doesnt cost big cash to run fast . It takes knowledge and skill.
Of course you need cash but you dont need " big cash" to run 10s.

Not really sure where this topic is going to go though . . .

If your asking if 500 hp is too much your clearly showing you didnt take the time to actually look at any setups.

My car with a Boosted d15 went 12.1 on slicks, daily driven, but GUTTED.
Car should still go 12.9 on DR's and full interior.
Does that help at all ?

i dont think this thread will go far...because you can do it all motor or forced induction(turb0, supercharged, or NOS)...

You need to stop. Search. Learn.
All your questions have been answered in tons of threads.

You need to search around and learn instead of expecting everyone to tell you how to go fast. And you don't need much to go 12's with a turbo honda.

drag gen III is a turbo kit. im a little confused as to what you are asking here...but the others are right..search and you will find every answer you need. untill then here is what you need to run consistent 12's:

civic
good turbo kit
slicks
some kinda skill

if you can get that together you got yerself a 12 second car! as far as slicks breaking ****...preload and you will have no probs. i launched at 7500rpms on stock axels and stock trans many times and never broke anything

that is the correct turbo kit...its a great beginner turbo kit. and preload is what you do to prevent "shocking" the axels/trans pull up the ebrake and ease out on the clutch to put a load on the axels...if you do this they will thank you when you drop it at 7500rpms!

Racing ain't cheap!

Even if you can get into 12's, how long can you keep doin it? You gonna break stuff and learn from there to get used to these numbers.

What do you guys need to do to take your 12-13 second cars and put it into the 11's?

Must the car be built with a Totally Different approach?
