I was wiping down the rear window of my 97 Civic when I accidentally broke off a small glass-like ball that was attached to the rear defroster wiring. Now the defroster doesn't work. My mechanic said that he could have repaired it if I had kept the broken ball but, unfortunately, I have lost it. What is this part and is there any way to repair it?
